  Tips for the Traveler
Visas : Visas are generally not required for stays less than 30 days by holders of valid passports. Passports require a minimum of 4 months validity from date of entry, though this varies. A return ticket and adequate funds are sometimes also required. See your destination link below.
  Health issues and risks: Polio, leptospirosis, dengue fever and typhoid. No vaccinations are required but anti-malarial medication is recommended, especially when visiting the outer islands. A yellow fever certificate is required when traveling to some areas. Also watch out for sunburn and jellyfish!

Helpful Tidbits...
  According to customs of some islands, such as in Vanuatu, no tipping is allowed. Courtesy and sincere appreciation is well received. Be sure to find out the norm for your destination.
Topless bathing is forbidden on some islands so check before you strip.
Do not under estimate the risk of malaria. If you go down with a fever, assume that it IS malaria and treat it accordingly.
