areas warm and rainy in summer while winters are milder.
The south and west are generally sunny and dry. Abrupt
weather changes from day to day, and even during the day,

The national parks of the Andes
region are abundant with wildlife and provide good
opportunities for shooting, fishing and skiing. |

Beef is of a particularly high
quality, especially in Argentina, and meat-eaters should
not miss out on the chance to dine at a parillada,
or grill room, where a large variety of barbecue-style
dishes can be sampled. Also, wines are very good and
inexpensive. |

Falklands/Malvinas war. |

Most Chileans use a double surname
and only the first part should be used in addressing them. |
